Berbick was pretty good. Berbick was full of confidence after beating a then-unbeaten Greg Page and Snipes did a number on him. The Witherspoon fight was entertaining as well.
Crowcroft and Berlenbach did mention some good ones. I would say that nearly any Snipes fight is worth watching. He had three fights filmed before he fought Larry: Floyd Cummings, Eddie Mustafa, and Gerrie Coetzee. All were fairly good scraps with the Coetzee fight being probably the best among them. On wikipedia, it says that after the Holmes fight that most of the fights Snipes was in "descended into wildly entertaining brawls". That's right on. I've never really liked Snipes, but he was in some great hw donnybrooks with some good fighters from the '82-'88 period in particular. Anything Snipes is bound to be a good brawl. His fights with Berbick, Biggs, and Washington are the most entertaining imo.
People underrate Renaldo. I could see him beating Weaver under the right circumstances. He really clocked Berbick. And to be honest, he edged Witherspoon too. Though the draw with Scott Frank( of all people) still bothers me to this day.
