Which of these heavyweights have the best resume in terms of quality of wins? Rank from strongest resume to weakest.

Jerry Quarry - Ron Lyle, Earnie Shavers , Floyd Patterson, Mac Foster, Brian London.

Jimmy Young - George Foreman, Ron Lyle x 2, Jose Luis Garcia, Richard Dunn

Joe Bugner - Henry Cooper (past it), Greg Page, James Tillis, Jimmy Ellis, Brian London.

David Tua - Hasim Rahman, Michael Moorer (past it) , John Ruiz, David Izon, Oleg Maskaev

Alexander Povetkin- Dillian Whyte, Carlos Takam, Ruslan Chagaev, Eddie Chambers, Marco Huck

    My rankings:

    1. Jimmy Young
    2. Jerry Quarry
    3. David Tua
    4. Joe Bugner
    5. Alexander Povetkin

I like your rankings and would only swap Quarry for the top spot. Clearly you're using their top 5 wins, but I think Quarry's wins over Buster Mathis and Thad Spencer (who were both at the top of their game) were far above Brian London, which would ease him into the top spot for me. Still, intriguing question.

Good post. I picked the 5 best wins but obviously i mean the whole resume and not just the 5 best wins. You are right, i missed some of Quarry's underrated wins so he has a great case to be #1.

Considering the fact that you can argue Young won the fights against Ali and Norton, the answer is obvious.
