I'm sorry but how on earth can you justify Pavlik having a better resume over 2 years than Pacman?

    :-(

Who the hell of any significance (and please don't tell me that Jermain Taylor is that significant - He could barely get past a couple of welterweights & jr. middleweights for christ's sake) has he actually beaten?

Granted the kid has promise, but PLEASE!

On first glance it looks like a slam dunk for Pac but upon closer inspection it's not such a ridiculous comparison:

MIranda,Taylor 2X, McKart are very good competition.

    Manny still wins though!

in just 2 years, assuming kelly pavlik did this in two years

KP - abraham, calzaghe, kessler, bute, dawson, winky

perhaps he can make a case

but imo pac would also add up his resume in two years and by two years time he'd still have the better resume

pav has a lot of promise, imo h should be #1 p4p if ever pac retires, not calzaghe. but pac has the best: the 3 great mexican boxers of the last century he battled: hello?:deal

if were talking about the last two years, both are about even with Kelly Pavlik slightly ahead. But the total resume? No question its Pac.

Based on those names I wouldn't say it's anywhere near close... and I'm a fan of Kelly and I hate Manny's guts!

Morales, Barrera, and JMM are all elite fighters who were ranked in the top 10 p4p. Larios is also a world class titleholder from the lower weight divisions.

While with Pavlik the only standout name there is Jermain Taylor. A nearly shot McKart, a crude brawler like Miranda, and a fringe contender like Zertuche don't even begin to compare to the names Pacquiao has on his resume.

    It's Manny Pac by a mile.:deal

Pacquiao and its not even close. There is no big enough names in Pavlik's weight range that could make him surpass wins over Morales, Barrera and JMM. Those three names are legends and Pac is a 4 divisions champion so i don't think its even debatable....
