Morales and Barrera were SHOT. Pac's win against JMM was very questionable.

(I agree that Pac is the #1 p4p though.)

What will you say if Calzaghe happens to beat Jones? That he's the greatest ever because he beat Hopkins and Jones in a row? I don't think so.

And we're talking about the last two years. Who cares if Pac is a 4 or 5 division champion if he didin't win those titles in the last two years?

Pavlik's resume' since the Zuniga fight is better than some people are willing to admit, but Pac is miles ahead in this poll as he should be.

Both dont have the greatest resume in the past 2 years.
Pac fought some big names but really the only ones he gets credit for from me is JMM and we all know how that went.
Pavlik only gets credit for Taylor.

    I say its pretty even.

You have to use the same type of objectivety with both resumes:
Morales and Barrera were definitely over the hill by then. Larios was coming off a loss and had to move up 2 divisions to fight Pac.
Not to mention the controversy of his "win" over JMM.

Like I said, Manny gets this no problem but it's a lot closer than
some of you are willing to admit!:-(

BY the way, I'm the only Pacfan who refuses to sugar-coat his accomplishments or to automatically dismiss those of his opponents?

Thank you. I am not a Pac hater but people do make his accomplishments out to be more than they really are. He fought a shell of Morales, A wary MAB just there for the paycheck, Larios a good fighter at 122. Solis, hmm who was he and what has he done. And now David Diaz. And the best fight he had was JMM. That one he gets full credit even because of the outcome. You cant get much credit for fights you know you are supposed to win. And all of them except the JMM was one of those. Instead of fighting Solis and Larios he could have fought Soto and Guzman.

PAvliks resume is also overrated. The really only great win was the 2 against Taylor. The others not really. Miranda i called a bum even before that and predicted a PAvlik Stoppage. He was just hyped up.

If you look at both resumes. yes Pac has the bigger names but they were not much competition then. Pavlik has only one tough name in Taylor and the rest were not so great. Well maybe Mckart.

All in all i say its pretty even, with maybe Pac having a slight slight edge.

This is a complete Joke !

I can't beleive that people actually think Bronco McKart is actually now a quality opponent ..He hasn't ben a quality opponent since is bouts with Winky at jr .Welter ..

David Diaz alone can compete with miranda and Lockett ..Its no comparison Manny has the better resume ..
