No, I actually had the insight and explain why and how Sor Rungvisai was going to beat him, and no I don't reflexively pick against Gonzalez like I do Joshua (don't do that with Joshua either), and no I don't hate Gonzalez. Based on styles... I've picked 2 guys to beat him (when he was a beast and it mattered), Cuadras and Sor Rungvisai. Well... Cuadras arguably did enough to merit a draw or even a one point win. Sor Rungvisai beat him both times. I know you're salty about that, because you're a fanboy, but it doesn't make it any less true. Make peace with that, Sor Rungvisai just has his number.
I said I was wrong when I watched it back..... and changed my score on the RBR. Which is rare for me. I guess you missed that. Regardless. The second round was damn close, the 4th round was damn close and the 9th due to a few heavy shots Wilder landed was also closer. Also, Wilder was rolling with a lot of his shots. Fury looked hellishly awful and was quite inaccurate. But, he certainly was the ring general.
Canelo by far it's not even close he fought everyone at 154 168 and a title at 175 what has usyk done plz tell me so I can laugh
I think Wilder lost rounds 6-11 but on occasions dredged up powerful combos from somewhere (God know's where?) which may have tightened up a couple of them which could justify switching a round from Fury to Wilder. I watched the fight in full again yesterday - his complete refusal to accept defeat was incredible. Made me a fan, finally...
Damn, you actually admitted you were wrong? That's huge for you. Good job man. Not being patronizing. I'm actually a little surprised and proud of you right now. I'm used to you drawing a line in the sand and never budging. I kind of love how stubborn you are like that and how you refuse to listen to other people.
Yeah, that was my thinking when I went Wilder for those rounds initially. Also, I was getting tired, it was my 10th or 11th match of the day, combine that with Fury landing a lot of slapping shots, compared to Wilder's more compact powerful ones. It made a few of the rounds closer than most people seemed to process at the time.
That's nothing new for me, I do it all of the time. If it's something I got wrong, I'm not delusional. I'll admit it. It is what it is. I'm a mutable flexible pragmatic guy like that. It's the idea that I get in my head that I feel I'm 100% right on or at the very least, in the vicinity of being right. Then I'm inflexible and stubborn as a mule.
If youre in an enviroment with boxing fans even casuals, im sure the topic of discussion isnt going to be about caribou hunting season, now is it?
Not really, you need to get the **** out of your mouth to think clearly. Usyk's best win is Joshua who was KTFO by a fat out of shape Ruiz who had one weeks notice for the fight. Joshua's best win is against an old AF nearly shot, bambi legged Wladimir Klitschko who had previously been KO three times, and had just been humiliated by Tyson Fury. While Usyk was dominant at cruiserweight, it was well, cruiserweight. The divisions for fighters too lazy to train hard and cut weight so they come in a bit flabby, or too scared to fight with the REAL big boys, so they cut weight to make it to cruiser.
Point is, the opinions of casual fans are more or less useless. Real fans should know that. But you are more closely related to casuals that real boxing fans. You're just a fanboy plain and simple. You believe casuals...
