There is only boxer who even comes close to having as many great names on his resume than Oscar, and that's Holyfield.

Oscar De La Hoya fought and beat the best. Some decisions were bad, though. In my book, he beat Mosley twice, beat Trinidad, and lost to Whitaker and Sturm.

True, no one will ever bring up Oscar's win over Molina and Chicanito but they bring up Chicanito when talking about Mayweather all the time.

De La Hoya's resume is outrageous when you look at it like that. He was the first that sprung to mind for me. Also Mosley and Pacquiao have very good resume.

    Same with Gatti.

That was considered a throw-away fight for DLH but Floyd got a lot of mileage out of that win.

Oscar has always been held to the highest of standards..ALWAYS..Most of the time unfairly.

IMO, Oscar has the best resume, and has beat better opposition than anyone in the last 15 years.

How about Oscar not getting all the due credit for beating Chavez and Whitaker, because they weren't at their absoloute peak...YET Pacquiao gets tons of credit for beating two lesser fighters in Barrera and Morales who had as much if not more ring wear and tear than Chavez and Whitaker.
