In that 8th round he landed it at will against Hatton and did some good damage with it in the early rounds when he threw it. Gatti was one of the worst beatings you'll ever see, he landed everything but the kitchen sink in that fight.
JMM has the most accurate right hand for sure. If he had thrown more left hooks off the jab he might have taken 1 or 2 crucial rounds.
how he lands uppercuts from range really impresses me as well. marquez has the best punch repetoire in the sport. his faints and the way he puts punches together beutifully is just amazing to watch.
Wlad is up there as well. Wlads straight right behind his jab might or should be the single most feared punch in boxing. Just the mystique to it during his fights, how you have to wait like 3 rounds to even see it atsch His right hand on Brock might be the most brutal punch I've seen landed in a long time live
To be fair, I think anyone could have hit Ricky with a lead right in the eighth round, he had lost the plot completely, trying to kill Floyd - fair enough I say, no point just accepting a wide UD loss, have a go! I think Ricky has always been vulnerable to a snappy lead right, as opposed to a dynamite straight right. I would say Marquez has the best one, it would be interesting to see what others think about a left hand?
