Maybe not the best, but just to throw out a name not mentioned yet: Armstrong's whip of a right hand was pretty unique and badass.
Both yours and Burts were what I hope for in posts, info I'm not going to come across very often! Burt is our rare eye witness to many of the greats we talk about and I had been wondering on just what he mentioned, whether Jenkins hit harder then the great Ike Williams. And Ramirez from expeirence saying Edwin hit clearly harder then Alex is great insite also. My hat off to both of you.
JCC at his overpowering best was something else but his right hand doesn't seem in the league with the big one and outers to me.
Maybe not for power but for accuracy it was one of the best imo. As far as power goes, the likes of Freddie Pendleton and Roger Mayweather had decent right hands if we're talking about guys from recent years.
As an eraser, Rosario and Arguello. Rosario, in my opinion, is the hardest punching lw ever. Duran, JCC, and Williams aren't as hard, but probably as effective over the long haul. Armstrong's effectiveness can't be discounted either.
Most overrated 135lber of all time IMO. Best KOs I've seen from him have been with the left hook at higher weights. Powerful no doubt, but not on the level of Rosario and Arguello IMO.
