On the lower-end scale for a guy who didn’t have a big budget to stage a freaking Broadway play as his ringwalk, Wilbert “Vampire” Johnson sometimes was carried to the ring in a coffin.
The most electric that I ever saw was seeing Cory Spinks who I watched fight live at least 20 times as a pro/am in St Louis, walk out with Nelly in front of 20 thousand screaming hometown fans. Cory lost his welterweight title that night to Zab Judah but it was a crazy atmosphere because Nelly was a huge star at the time and St Louis hadn't had a championship fight since the 50's.
