DLH against Manny was pretty incredible. Couldnt punch back, just stood there taking a pounding round after round after round.

The better fighter won + he was well ahead on points anyway & Joe aint knocking **** out in that 15th, especially after being smacked around like a disobedient donkey in the 13th & 14th.....

But yeah, both Ali & Frazier`s heart in that fight was 110%.

 

I agree, spur of the moment comment (if it even happened) is one thing..... not coming out for the 15th & last rd after a whole minute rest in the rubber match vs your hated rival when you have enough points in the bag to even lose the last rd is completely different.... no-one SERIOUSLY believes that ****, no-one with a brain anyway.

famous heart(and chin) chavalo vs foreman. getting his ass handed to him and kept coming forward. local heart: a guy from my gym suffered a detatched retina and a cut over the other eye in rnd one of a 10 rounder. he was down twice, and knocked his opponent down twice in the tenth to salvage a draw. most guts i'd ever seen. worth every penny of the 500$ he got paid.
