Lots of good fights listed here. I can't help but recall a lower level fight that I thought was incredible.

"Furious" Freddy Curriel vs Ross "The Boss" Minter (Alan Minter's kid.)

Round after round after round the Minter kid handed little Freddy his ass, but Freddy stayed in the fight, and refused to go down. In the closing seconds of the closing round Minter had Freddy on the ropes, busted up, bleeding, eyes swollen nearly shut, and it looked like Freddy was done; one more flush shot, and he would go down. All of a sudden a right hand from hell came out of nowhere, the Minter kid flew across the ring like you shot him out of a canon, and it's over; Freddy by KO!

Afterward Curriel said; "I knew I'd catch him with that right hand eventually. I just wish it hadn't taken so long." Simply an amazing fight.

JMM coming back from a 3 KD deficit instantly comes to mind.

Gatti and Holyfield were constantly proving their mettle.

My fave though is Rafael Ruelas vs Freddy Pendleton. (the one fight that turned me into a hardcore boxing junkie)

Great post and thinking of which I'm surprised I haven't anyone pick Sugar Ray Leonard against Thomas Hearns......

Ray was REALLY ****ed up and lost some years from his career with that detached retina......I think that was Angelo Dundee's finest moment of his career letting Ray know the
stakes..Considering the competition and the stakes, it gotta rank up there pretty high

The way Ray hit Tommy with that 25+ punch combination amazes me everytime I see it.....He dug deep and they weren't fighting 12 rounders.Considering the competition and stakes, it gotta rank up there pretty high

hmmmm what about Mike Tyson vs Lennox Lewis..

Mike Tyson knew months before this fight, that Lennox Lewis was gonna beat him down. On medication, lacking in work ethic..Mike Tyson in them last moments leading up to the fight decided to take that step into the ring..and take his beating like a man.
