Best since Honeyghan over Curry!

    A British boxing publication recently stated that if Munroe beat Nishioka 2moro it would be the best away victory by a British fighter since Lloyd Honeyghan beat Don Curry.

    What do you think? Any notable ones since Lloyd's big victory?

    One of the recent ones that comes to my mind is Froch's last round heroic comeback against Jermain Taylor. A great result for a British fighter on foreign soil.:good

    Give me some of the biggest and best Brit away days since Honeyghan-Curry.

    Not seen it but fearing the wrath of the fellow Irish lads, Wayne's away day to Yakushiji probably not the underdog but 16-0 and traveling to Japan for it.

    Naz-Kelley was a big 'statement' type fight wasn't it? Hamed showed the Yanks he was the real deal.

    I thought it showed them how vulnerable he was, but showed them how exciting he was too.
    I knew from that fight he would never beat Barrera.

    In his early days Gaz like the Morrison, Ruddock, Tucker fights was he the underdog or firm favorite just out of interest. Did the Americans fancy Lewis to be anything back then?

    Either or would be fine, as long as the fighter was an underdog on the Honeyghan-Munroe-Froch model. Are there anymore than these three?

    Oh, and I guess Haye was probably underdog against Mormeck, wasn't he?
