What is the best single punch landed by each ATG heavyweight? Does not necessarily need to be a ko punch but probably their hardest punch. It does need to exist on film.

    Jefferies: ?
    Johnson: right vs Ketchel
Dempsey: initial left hook that knocked down Willard
Tunney:? Maybe the right that decked Dempsey
Schmeling: Right that hurt Louis in 4th round of the first fight
Louis: right hand that ko'd Braddock
Marciano: right hand that ko'd Walcott

I'll add the rest of my picks later.

I don't think there's enough of Jeffries on film, or in good enough quality, for anything meaningfull really. Maybe the shot he dropped Ruhlin with.

If you count Jack Sharkey, probably his KO of Loughran.
Ezzard Charles has a few nice ones, like his KO of Satterfield.
Walcott has his KO of Charles

Lewis - right hand on Rahman
Holyfield - right hand that dropped Douglas
Wlad - left hook that finished Pulev maybe?
Foreman - Toss up between the uppercut that caused Frazier to leave the ground & the right that finished Moorer
Frazier - left hook on Ali in the FOTC in round 15 that dropped him

Well, if you have Schmeling in there I'll add:

Jack Sharkey's left hook that dropped Carnera in the 4th round of their first fight
Max Baer's straight right that dropped Pat Comiskey in the 1st round (I'm sure there are others but this was sweet)
Floyd Patterson's left hook on Ingo in the 5th round of their rematch
Mike Weaver's left hook on john Tate in the 15th (his left hook on Carl the truth wasn't too shabby either)

Ali had quite a number I was thinking about. Of course the right that dropped Foreman will probably be the one to be remembered, but the right he dropped Cleveland Williams for the 3rd knockdown in the 2nd round was sweet. As well as the left hook that dropped Bonavena in the 15th and there was a tremendous left hook that rocked Frazier in the 9th round of their first fight that has always stuck in my head.

Joe Louis: so many to choose from. The right hand that took out Jimmy Braddock was beautifully set up with the left hand to the body.

Rocky Marciano: The right hand that took out Jersey Joe Walcott is one of the great punches in the sport's history.

Floyd Patterson: The left hook in the Ingemar Johannson rematch that left him twitching.

Larry Holmes: right uppercut that dropped Mike Weaver?

Mike Tyson: a lot to choose from. I'm going with the right hand that took out Frans Botha.

    Lennox Lewis: the Rahman rematch

Good shout all round, might be case for Fraziers left hook that finished Foster has being " better " than against Ali, just saying.... keep well.

I agree w/ all but the last two. As 4 Tyson I am not sure, and for Lewis I would have 2 say the punch that floored Ruddock for the first time.
