1) Mike Tyson 2) Larry Holmes 3) Lennox Lewis 4) Evander Holyfield 5) Riddick Bowe 6) Michael Moorer Wlad will probably overtake Moorer in a couple of years, he also has the potential to take Bowes spot
1) Larry Holmes 2) Lennox Lewis 3) Evander Holyfield 4) Mike Tyson 5) Wladimir Klitschko 6) Vitali Klitschko
Doesn't Holmes have a better resume than Holyfield? Sure, Holy had the better opposition, but lost four out of five against his two best opponents. Holmes dominated an era, like Lewis, Tyson (short, but very dominant) and perhaps like Wlad now (remains to be seen).
1) Larry Holmes 2) Evander Holyfield 3) Mike Tyson 4) Lennox Lewis 5) Riddick Bowe 6) Wladimir Klitschko
1. Lennox Lewis 2. Mike Tyson (his 86-90 reign had dominance written all over it) 3. Evander Holyfield (fought everybody, didn't win all the time but he fought everyone!) 4. Larry Holmes 5. Riddick Bowe 6. Wladimir Klitschko The most gifted fighter outside the list: Tim Witherspoon :yep Larry Holmes should probably be #1
Bull****, Lennox was too slow and chinny to beat a prime Tyson and although Larry Holmes was a little effective in keeping Tyson at the end of his punches, he eventually succumbed to Tyson's relentless and power blows. Same result no matter when they fought. Holyfield though may have beaten any version of Tyson, but it's doubtful.
Larry Holmes: 20months of inactivity, coming from two losses. He was FAR from his prime, even Mike told Larry Merchant that "That wasnt the real Larry in there, had he been in his prime days I wouldn't stand a chance" How the **** can you claim a credible, seasoned Larry Holmes win on Mike's record, when that was obviously not the case. You don't know anything about boxing, let alone Larry Holmes, so **** off :hi: Lennox Lewis was slow, egg chinned but yet he took the best of Mercer and Tua, and he comfortably beat every short fighter in his entire career, he would quite obviously cause trouble for a prime Mike.
