A vendetta against British fighters? Despite the fact I'm London bred?

I dare say you're full of crap. I'm not going to lie though, I do NOT like Calzaghe, never have. I just don't let my hatred of him cloud my judgement.

Ward certainly has achieved more than Kessler at this point. What has Kessler done other than lose his biggest fights? Ward has pretty much cleaned out the Super Middleweight division. I don't think you can rate him over Calzaghe yet, although he already has fought better opposition in terms of the talent that exists in today's SMW division. Calzaghe bowed out right when the division really started heating up.

Based on the fact that the average opponent Ward has faced as champ has been far better than the average opponent Calzaghe faced.

So this is Calzaghe, Benn and Eubank you don't like?

What was the bigger myth? :nut

So you have what? An inferiority complex?

People were calling you a moron in the lounge, now I see why

I've got nothing against Benn or Eubank at all. In fact, I rather like Eubank, the man was a cool personality - one I to an extent identify with. Which is why the truth about him pains me. But it's no good to bury my head in the sand about it, and I don't like the fact so many other people do.

Your comments make it clear that you base your opinions about fighters based on whether you like them or not. You're doing it wrong....

Have they? Joe beat Bika before Ward did. Joe beat a prime, undefeated Kessler in a clean fight. Ward disgracefully headbutted a post prime Kessler suffering from double vision into submission, and was awarded a win when he should have been disqualified. Joe beat the likes of Lacy, Reid and Eubank as well. Carl Froch was a very good win, but there is no doubt that Calzaghe would have won a wide decision over Froch.

Joe reigned as Champ for over 10 years, Ward has a long way to go.

Yes, Ward has definitely beaten the better average opponent. But that criteria is crap, and truthfully I know it. Calzaghe throughout his reign has beaten enough top fighters to be at the top of the list.

I'm just not changing the order because I don't like the guy, and I don't like his quantity of crap defenses (I truly loathe long-term WBO titlists).

What if I ranked Ward at 5th, and when you ask why I simply state 'because I don't like the guy'. You don't have to like him, but you have to respect what he accomplished, as I said, Ward has a long way to go.

Ward has not beaten the better average opponent, and as I said, his antics against Kessler were utterly disgraceful, he deserved to be DQ'd.

If you admit to your biases, why would I have an issue with them?

And Kessler was outclassed by Ward. Ward used his head in more ways than one, so what? Commonplace.

Calzaghe's average opponent was poor. He faced far too many bad opponents for him to be mentally challenged like fighters who constantly face good ones are. I can't and never will respect that. He began to get it together near the end of his career, and he intermittently faced better opponents earlier on, the overall quantity of which means he deserves (but won't be) on the top of my list.

So you admit to bias? That makes sense then, so there's no substantial reason as to why you rank Ward above Calzaghe, it's just that you don't like him. Well at least we settled that, and don't have to waste time debating it.

His headbutting against Kessler was ****ing disgraceful, in Denmark he would have been disqualified. Kessler had enough problems with double vision, he was mistreated in jOakland.

I don't think Ward can be above Kessler and certainly not Calzaghe in terms of achievements.

Just like I would not put new and up-coming Abubaker ahead of Sebastian Coe on achievement in 800 meters dash - eventhough Abubaker has run faster..... Ward is probably the best SMW out there right now, but on achievment he has not proven longivity and many other things... For example, can he handle fbig fights abroad? Can he last many years as champion? And so on. He is still fairly new.. much like Abubaker.

Bika has never been champion and we certainly have several world champions that have achieved more than him.

    The best? Joe Calzaghe

The most exiting to watch? Joe Calzaghe

    The greatest record? Joe Calzaghe

Ring champ at 2 different weights simultaneously? Joe calzaghe

The best SMW of the last 10 years is pretty easily Joe Calzaghe.
