I am not a fan of Hurricane. Too many inaccuracies!

Hurricane by Bob Dylan is the best one, but I have such mixed feelings about the inaccuracies that it's sometimes hard to enjoy it like I used to. However, I can still enjoy The Boxer by Paul Simon or Boxing Freestyle by R.A. the Rugged Man. Can't Be Touched by Roy Jones Jr. is a good one. Oh, and the Rocky Theme.

Also, Boxers by Morrissey, The Hitter by Bruce Springsteen, I Think I Can Beat Mike Tyson by DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince, Boxing by Ben Folds Five, Who Killed Davey Moore by Bob Dylan, King Joe by Count Basie and Paul Robeson, Song for Sonny Liston by Mark Knopfler, Salvador Sanchez by Sun Kil Moon, and Young Man Rumble by Max and Sam.

A Song by African Showband Osibisa called
'Music for Gong Gong' was used by some Tv Co's as the opening theme to the Ali - Foreman fight as it fitted in quite well with the African theme, Its uptempo and fits in with the Heralding of an Event, The song to some as become associated with the fight, But the Song Dates from 1971... But it seemed a good fit for certain broadcasters at the time, And Osibisa enjoyed some period of increased success on the back of this Exposure and Association.

I'm not going to go anywhere near claiming this is any kind of Best song about boxing, but here's something I wrote and recorded after watching Randie Carver, Bobby Tomasello, and Beethavean Scottland die in boxing matches. Years later I paired the recording with footage of Carnera - Schaaf.
