Calzaghe was slapping like a girl against Hopkins. They both looked like crap in that fight.. Comparing Joe skills to Lomas is like comparing Primark to Tom Ford
It was a good shot, did you think it wasn`t a sharp punch, he caught him on the counter, B-hop`s opponents after DLH leading up to the fight with Joe weren`t as aggressive as Calzaghe, he got caught walking in.
You think it was a draw? Look, in terms of ability, Joe was not as gifted as Pea. Pea’s skill level was higher. Yes, Joe was a great fighter. Yes, he was unbeaten. Being undefeated doesn’t automatically mean that you’re better than anyone who was defeated in their career though. You know that. I don’t care as much about Joe’s record as you do. Because I know that most of his record consists of domestic and European level fighters. Again, Joe would not have fought Oscar De La Hoya and Felix Trinidad at the end of his career like Pea did. In fact, he probably wouldn’t have taken fights like that at any point of his career. So: Pea was the better fighter, who took more chances. Pea was the better southpaw.
