Hagler is the first to come to mind.

After Hagler might be Adolfo Viruet, who gave Duran trouble at lightweight.

Hagler was the best easily. No one else comes close.

    Marvin Hagler
    Hector Camacho
    Robbie Sims
    Adolfo Viruet
    Leoncio Ortiz

Duran performed impressively against his early southpaw opponents who were admittedly not higher class opponents. He did well above his best weight against half-brothers Hagler and Sims. Many felt he beat Hector Camacho way past his prime.

I don't think he had any particular problems facing the southpaw style.

Emiliano Villa was the best during his 135 days.
