Ok so I wanna get into watching mma, im a boxing fan and I think exciting strikers are something that can get me into the sport, which fighters would you recommend a new fan like me to start watching to get really interested in it?
Cro Cop. Except for by the time he got to the UFC he was on the downslide. Honestly, some of the best stand up fighting was in the K1 golden age when Andy Hug et al were still around. For insane ground n pound, you need Fedor, who was never UFC. Lyoto Machida is the man you want for great technical stand up fighting.
Mirko Cro Cop (check out his PRIDE fights, was passed it when he got to the UFC), Israel Adesanya, Anderson Silva, Conor McGregor, Stephen Thompson, Lyoto Machida, Jose Aldo (when he still had his speed).
LOL. He said best strikers not best whiners. The two Diva Bros have never been elite strikers. They win on cardio/volume along with great chins and ability to take damage. Someone like a Stephen Thompson would clown them with striking. Although it wasn't fun to watch look at how easy Condit striked and moved away form Nick. Very easy. Conor was embarrassing Nate early in both their fights but as I stated the immemse ability to take damage and Conor's PATHETIC gas tank allowed Nate back into the fights.
Israel Adesanya Conor McGregor Donald Cerrone Mirko Crocop Justin Gaethje's striking is elite too, although some people are stuck on him as the 'Homer Simpson' of MMA. His improvements have been so impressive. As a boxing guy, I love the way he cuts off the cage. The fact that his trainer, Trevor Wittman's primary discipline isn't shocking given how good Justin's footwork is. If you're trying to get into MMA, Justin is probably the guy to pique your interest. His fights are always either highlight reel kayos or the fight of the year, or both.
I forgot to mention Dominick Cruz. His offense is garbage but his footwork, defense and fight IQ is elite.
Chuck Liddell was a nightmare for wrestlers, but against competent elite level strikers he more than met his match.
Agreed mate. No disrespect to Stipe, he gets absolutely decimated by cro cop on the feet an fedor and a lot of pride fighters

Sugar Sean O'Malley is an exciting fighter to watch if you want to get into MMA. He gets a lot of hate because Dana hyped him so much, but he will come back from this loss stronger.
TJ Dillashaw, Israel Adesanya, Stephen Thompson, Dustin Poirier are all great strikers. Poirier being very boxing orientated
