they do because physically they are stronger than their opponents, gsp uses more technique as he is lighter than most of his opponents such as thiago alves, and mind you velasquez and sonnen never fought someone like thiago alves in terms of weight, and striking abilities.

This is complete nonsense. GSP is heavier than the vast majority of his opponents. Thiago Alves, the one you mentioned, is probably the only one of his title defences that has been heavier than him. GSP looks as though he weighs around the same as Fitch and Kos, and more than Shields, Hardy, Penn, Serra, etc.

This is a silly comment. Sonnen is a superb wrestler. His technique is excellent.

Different types. GSP times his shot, Sonnen keeps pushing through the TD and Cain uses his speed and skillset to make big guys look not so good. If Cain was fighting smaller guys I think he'd have more trouble than someone like Kongo or Rothwell can pose.

Sonnen goes to the ground but gets submitted so his control and positioning can be compromised. GSP doesn't take such a big risk but still seems to maintain control a touch better. Cain hasn't been in this situation.

TD's have to go to GSP. Control has to go to GSP. Fearless takedowns has to go to Sonnen.

I'd say Sonnen would be the best at getting a person on there back but he doesn't really care how it ends up as long as he is on top.

GSP on the other hand seems to never put himself in any sort of danger when he gets the takedown he always seems to have great position once it goes to the mat.

I'd lean with GSP his take downs are much more effective in terms of once they are down its going to take something special to get out of it or even to catch him in a dangerous spot.

 Give yourself a shake you silly gimp. Because a fighter says he is lighter than all of his opponents means nothing. He is a big welterweight, far bigger than average. Keep your eyes open next time you watch him fight.

Sonnen is absolutely relentless when it comes to getting a takedown

Jones has the best in the UFC I think. I also really rate Demetrious Johnson's takedowns.

GSP hands down best functional wrestler in MMA. His timing is impeccable. I can barely remember the last time he attempted a takedown and failed. Was it BJ Penn? Maybe I just can't remember.

They're all fantastic wrestlers and I really can't say that I think any of them is far superior to the other in terms of technique but GSP's successful takedown rate AND the level of wrestlers that he's dumped to the mat is easily the most impressive.
