Best technical and tactical effort against a swarmer?

    Garcia was arguably the first to call his uppercut the "Bolo punch" and 68 men fell victim to it, including the middleweight champion Fred Apostoli. Armstrong just never let him gauge the correct distance to fire it off. Garcia also wasn't much of a jabber but more of a combination/power puncher.

    Zivic had great inside fighting ability but he was also good at a distance, being tall for a welterweight in his time at 5'10, and especially clever at mixing up his attack against pressure fighters (which allowed him to fight even middleweights).

    Marquez I think would stand his ground too much with Armstrong and he wouldn't have the height and weight advantages of Zivic. Zivic admitted that he got the worst of it in the early goings and got quite a working over from Armstrong while trading shots in close.
