For a HW punch out with its fair share of nuclear drops, Liston-Williams 1 (and 2 to a lesser extent) had some very nice technical features to it.

As compared relatively to their counter parts in a far more popularly lauded HW brawl, Sonny and Cleve (not Cher) make George and Ronnie look like two cavemen, clumsily fighting over their tribe’s deemed hottie.

At the end of the day, it simply came down to George’s head being harder and his club being bigger and heavier.
