Spinks wasnt a dominant era HW of the 80's,he avoided Tucker who while not popular was the better fighter as a HW and got a win over injured Holmes and should have lost the rematch ....see the Lewis fight and that's the 90's with Tucker, only loss was M.Tyson as well with a win over Douglas who upset a lack luster M.Tyson in 89.

Byrd ? IDK,you had guys like Povetkin lurkin ( still today ) I would have to really look at this one, a lot of good fighters the Klitschkos both dispatched of like ibragomov and those guys Byrd only became really relevant with Vitali injury win.

Lewis dominated the 90's not Holyfield who was more inconsistent .Lewis also defeated him twice really. Bowe ? Yea probably 3,just goes to show even some eras have top guys that don't stay on top to long.

    Hard to argue the rest.

Didn't Corbett not only beat Jackson but was heavyweight champ in the 90s? So shouldn't Corbett be here above Jackson?

    No Fitzsimmons?

I'm not sure much of anything can be taken from that contest, so little fighting was done.

I think Jackson has the stronger record of the two over the 1890's, not a lot in it. And Jackson had a reasonable claim to the championship from various victories.

It's pretty bizzaire to not rank the fighter who beat two of the fighters included.

Somebody needs to read about Fitzsimmons' second encounter with Jeffries

In short, Fitzsimmons beat the **** out of him

Also Sullivan was waaaaay past it when he fought Corbett

Does a win over Derek Chisora and Shannon Briggs really put you over Fury or Joshua?

A natural Cruiserweight who started at LHW doesn't put you as the number 1 in my book

Audley Harrison was a gold medalist as was Leon Spinks. They weren't exactly legends

Jean Marc Mormeck was also 2 years campaigning at HW, I don't give Klitschko much credit for that win. Adamek was a good HW, nothing overly special. Golota was past it, Grant was never very good and neither was Arreola. One extra top 10 win doesn't put you over Fury and AJ.
Well yes he was stopped in 3 rounds in reality. Glad to see you can grasp that concept
