In your opinions when is the better option..
    A) waking up early and running before breakfast, eat, shower go work
B)do the roadwork at then end of the day before bed and then off to sleep?

If your goal is conditioning always eat before you run. If your goal is to get below 7% body fat, don't bother with breakfast.

Do your roadwork whenever is best for your schedule. I've seen people mention there's certain times in the day to do your workout for better results. TBH I can't see the time of day making much of a difference at all when it comes to roadwork.

Thanks for the response Virus. I take it that you meant option B is better for conditioning whereas option A would suit a person who is trying to lose weight more

This is all based on opinion and the answer you get might not be the one you want. I find it much much more pleasent in the early morning not 4AM or anythin like that just 7AM for a fast 5K under 25 and im done but im gonna be honest running tracks in the afternoon is just as good, whereas at night.. i don't like that

Running right before bed can make it really hard to get quality sleep, which can wear you down eventually and screw things up for the next day. However, I much prefer a night run at times.

Running in the morning can be a huge ***** to get started at and stick to. But it's a great boost for the day, just puts you in a good frame of mind and wakes you up for work. One drawback for me is that if you stand/walk all day it can really wear you down by the end of the week.

Physically the benefits are the same and any small difference is negligible. It's all about your preference.

i get more of a mental edge thinking i trained really hard yesterday and got plenty of sleep and rest to recover. My opponent is out there going old school breaking his body down , he'll be nackered on the night of the fight :D

  13. If you're having a hard run to condition your body, i choose to do it while i feel my best and know i can recover in time for whats next. Usually of an afternoon/evening. but sometimes waking up i decide to run then. My advice is to do it when it suits you best but then again, sometimes training doesn't suit you at all so suck it up, don't fall into a trap of not training.

The best time to do the roadwork is whenever you are most likely to do it.

It does not matter when you do it just so long as you do it consistently.
