Just out of the ten years i think i have to bring Eddie Futch and his crew of great apprentices.. Hedgemon Lewis and Thell Torrence, they were also responsible for the school of developing Freddie Roach.. I also hae mad respect for George Benton and Kenny Adams.. 6 years ago Kenny Adams released two fighters he started off as pro´s they were Ruslin Chagaev and Samuel Peter, also Muhammad Abdulaev.. look at what all 3 did after they went back home after thier schooling.. Kenny is as good as it gets... Samuel was made to change trainers after the Duvas got a hold of him.. Chagaev cried after he heard he had to leave to go back to Europe and fight for Universum..

It's close between Emmanuel Steward, Freddie Roach, Floyd Mayweather Sr., Buddy McGirt, and Nacho Beristein. They've done great work. But I voted for Emmanuel Steward. He's been training for a long time, has that famous Kronk gym in Detroit with all those great boxers, and has trained perhaps more great fighters than anyone else: Lennox Lewis, Thomas Hearns, Vladimir and Vitali Klitscko, Joan Guzman, Zahir Raheem, Naseem Hamed, Julio Cesar Chavez, Jermaine Taylor, and etc...

I wonder how much input and what changes these trainers really make and who has made the most difference in helping a fighter. But there is no measureable comparison and its all just speculation as to who is the best.
Who can really come in and teach, a lot of trainers are like hired guns or mercenaries getting paid to work for specific fights etc. I dont think you can raelly say who is the best, what you have is a group that is well known and thats about it.
