For me, the Brazil card was the best I have seen from UFC in a while. While 129 had two title fights, 134 was more compelling and more fun to watch for me. Some of the highlights: - Palhares celebrating a KO while his opponent was still not called out - Nedkov's comeback KO after appearing to get his nose broken in the 1st - Big Nog not only beating Shaub but destroying him at his own strength - Shogun setting the record straight on need for the ring to cage adaptation time - Spider's blocking of Okami's jab
I liked 125 personally, still fresh in the mind how exciting it was to watch Guida subbing Gomi Nate Diaz getting beat by Stun Gun Vera getting spanked Stann throwing the kitchen sink at Leben And fight of the year between Gray and Frankie But 129 & 134 are good calls also, Id go with Brazil just for the Nogueira celebrations out of the two
I voted for 134, 129 was great especially Machida`s crane kick but the main event ruined everything and to watch how "Legend Killer" Schaub gets ko`d by Minotauro was priceless
For me its 129 in front of 55,000 people. The GSP-Shields fight brought it down slightly but that card was magic to me. Bocek vs Henderson was a very entertaining, competitive opening matchup, Vladdy scored a violent KO, Machida scored his highlight reel KO over Couture then of course was Couture's retirement after an amazing career. For me though that fight for the Featherweight title between Jose Aldo and Mark Hominick will never EVER leave my mind. The level of striking both man displayed in this fight provided maybe one of the best ive seen in MMA. At times Hominick was making Aldo look foolish with his jab until Aldo scored a KD and proceeded to beat Hominick into a new head how the fight wasnt stopped was crazy. Then the 5th round Hominick beating the hell out of a gassed Aldo in front of Hominick's country and he was sooooo close to getting the stoppage and that belt. Awesome fight.
The Brazil card was good. Ross and Barboza was entertaining Nedkov getting the KO after getting a beating Nog wins by bitchbike Shogun sparks Forrest out with ease Anderson Silva...do i need to say more than the name?
134 wasnt all that imo, main event sucked **** my fav card so far has been 132, i thought 133 was better than 134 also, henderson miller was a better fight than anything we saw saturday night
