What were some undercard fights that were so good that they practically stold the show. I think of Arce vs Hussein 1, what are some others.
Jeff Fenech v Azumah Nelson... on the undercard of tyson Ruddock.. didn't steal the show, but it was dammmnnn good
Damm, beat me to it. That was one of THE most exciting fights i have ever witnessed. So much back and forth action and so much drama.
Check any Early 90's Don King PPV... That was Star Power, I'd still drop 59.99 on those. (as Re-Runs) Tyson Chavez Norris Nelson Jackson Brown ect... all guranteeed on the same card in some form. (Vs. Number #1's or Rated Fighter's)
I remember those days, boxing serious needs to start producing super cards again. Now we are lucking if we get two decent matchups on a PPV.
Jorge Castro-John David Jackson I was on the undercard of, I think, J.C. Chavez-Tony Lopez. Kevin Kelley-Derrick Gainer I on the undercard of Roy Jones-Eric Lucas. Wilfredo Gomez-Lupe Pintor on the undercard of Thomas Hearns-Wilfred Benitez Lawrence Clay Bey-Clifford Etienne on the undercard of Lennox Lewis-David Tua
Morales-Chi was a lot of fun (on the Jones-Gonzalez card) David Izon-Derrick Jefferson (Jones-Telesco) Dorin-Balbi 1 (Leija-Ward)
I completly forgot about that one. I tried to block the memory of taylor vs spinks out of my mind and I thought Pavlik vs Miranda was the main event. After that I vowed I would never watch a spinks fight again under any circumstance.
