hi new to the forum,just like to here people views on who is the best upcoming fighter to have burst on to the scene.I think the cuban gamboa looks the most promising young guy out there at the moment.
There's only two real prospects in boxing for me. Yuriorkis Gamboa and Juan Manuel Lopez. Juanma is in line for a title shot and Gamboa should be fighting for a title by 2009, maybe even late 08'.

Gamboa is efinately a force to be reckoned with. Devon Alexander might be another prospect who will have a big '08...but well see tonight if he is being moved along too fast. Chavez Jr. should fight 3 or 4 times this year...I still consider him a prospect even though hes been on the scene for a couple years. I really like the way they are moving Chavez Jr. along. They are fighting him frequently and raising the level opposition with every fight (for the most part).
