Cowboy's Stadium in Texas or the L.A. Coliseum because between Golden Boy and Top Rank they will load the undercard with all Latino's which will help pack those stadiums.

Sam Boyd Footmall Stadium would hold 30,000.

I like the idea of the new cowboys stadium or yankee stadium. All this nostalgia for old ass places is retarted. If there is a newer and better place, I'd rather start building the legacy for that place.

I don't know where you heard it, but that would be freaking awesome! (for me anyways)

My bet is MGM Grand, though. That's Floyd's home.

the tax situation in the city prevents this from being an option

Bloomberg give them a tax break to make it happen!!!!

Just saw a concert at Wembley and thought the atmosphere, seat views and acoustics were far inferior to the Millennium Stadium. This fight is only going to Vegas anyway

When you say custom built you mean 'temporary' right. Like custom built for 1 fight, then it would be destroyed. Is that right?

If so, I can see it would be a lot cheaper than building a stadium or arena as a 50,000 plus seated stadium in vegas would need a regular income, theres no sports team there right?

Do you think a 50, 000 plus could be custom built or is that too far?

Even 30,000 is still double than that of 16,000! Anyways, to make this fight historical, they hould hold it in a huge stadium. Thrilla in Manila & Rumble in the Jungle sticks out partly because of the venue. Promoters should maybe take a hit on the money lost from venue...besides they may gain it back from the extra publicity of having it in such a big place anyways. Most of the money will come from PPV too.

I read about Cowboys Stadium but according to Arum the story is false
    http://boxing.fanhouse.com/2009/11/...rking-on-mayweather-pacquiao-fight-for-march/

    Interesting last paragraph:
"Yankee Stadium took a full page add out for our Pacquiao-Cotto fight program that reads 'Yankee Stadium, Your Home For Boxing 2010,' and there's a picture of the stadium," said Arum. "The Yankees are so interested in doing boxing at their stadium. That's a good story that nobody has."

Bigger than Wembley, worlds biggest HD video boards. Perfect place for a 100k+ attendance mega fight.

it seems pretty clear that Cowboys stadium would be the optimal location. They can seat just about everyone who will want to go to the fight. HUGE screen, not to mention I would get to go and see it live, and only have to drive a few hours

My first post (long time reader though)

Wow that stadium looks awesome.. I will look to come out from Australia for this fight.

    Although, you would assume Vegas...

What casino has the biggest capacity venue in Vegas ? Is it MGM, Caesars ? Mandaly Bay ?
