Holyfield is a bad match for Norton. He would keep attacking with combinations and finally he would break down norton.late stoppage

Holy field has all the advantages here. Norton would be brave but suffer s a ten round KO .

Intruiging match up, with Evander not being a concussive puncher ,Norton is in with a real shout here.imo

I would take Norton on points. He presents a difficult picture for Holyfield. He's just as strong and better defensivley

I'd take Holyfield in a close one at their very best. Maybe they split a trilogy. Holyfield for mine hits a tad harder than Holmes and Ali and it would be fascinating to see how his power did or didn't affect Norton.

It would be a FOTY type candidate imo.

Norton was destroyed by Foreman, Shavers and Cooney but Holyfield wasn't a huge puncher like those guys so I think this one goes into the late rounds and maybe all the way. I'm leaning slightly towards Holyfield as the more durable of the two but given their styles, I think it'd be a great fight whichever way it went.

What about Norton`s jab? I think he could keep Holyfield off balance with it and also break up his tining.

Evander knocks norton out before round 6 with a vicious combination. Norton mostly relied on his athletisicisn and awkward cross armed defence, evander would just be too smart and too good of a counter puncher for norton, would look similar to Tyson vs holyfield 1 except much more onesided.

I think that the answer here is in how would react the chin of norton to the hitting power of evander... If norton can take it then I would not be sorprised if he wins a decision.if i can't take it well then evander wins by stoppage

Very best versions of both, I see Holyfield doing him. I'll say UD. But it's a close fight I'd love to see.

Evander doesn't have the power to blast Norton off him and Holy isn't as good a boxer as Holmes. This would go the distance with Norton taking a split decision

I think this is good point.. Norton might not get enough credit in the jab dept .. This is a close fight imo and I'm taking Holy to land late while Norton's trying to fight off his back foot, that was his weakness
