Seriously? I've seen fanboy type stuff, but this kind of Canelo fellating is downright ridiculous.

    For me:-
    Hopkins UD Pavlik
    Mayweather UD Canelo
    Fury TKO Wilder
    Marquez KO6 Pacqiuao
    Pacman SD Thurman

I'm sure there are more i'm forgetting, but those jump out at me.

Fanboy stuff? What's bigger than beating GGG, the formerly undefeated, most feared and celebrated Middleweight Champion of this century? What's bigger than setting the America indoor attendance record in a unification match at SMW beating an undefeated fighter by making him retire on his stool in front of 73,000+ fans?

And like tinman said, no catchweights, or drainings were involved in these massive wins by Canelo. Hopkins Pavlik doesn't count because 1) it wasn't a title fight and 2) it involved a catchweight of 170 lbs. Pavlik was the Middleweight Champ.

He had been back at 175 for plenty of time. That’s a myth.

Ok, so you're not going to like this, but it is what it is. No scalps over age 35 is allowed on my poll.

I've rewatched GGG vs Canelo 3 times, with different scoring "hats" on, and only when I wore the "Shadow111-Canelo-Superfan" hat did I give Canelo a draw. 116-112 GGG. The rematch was different but 1 was a travesty.

Hopkivs vs Pavlik is one of MY best victories in the 21st century, title fight or catchweight couldn't care, B-Hop was vintage that night.

Still a great victory that very little people were egiving Pac any chance of pulling off (strangely like the Spence fight now).
Oldest welterweight champ ever, written off. Sure, Thurman did not look as good as before against Lopez, but lots of rust there. Not many expected Pac to win.

None of those scalps are close to Kovalev level except for Hopkins. Who was over 40. Which breaks my rule, I've only included scalps under 35.

Most people thought Hatton won that fight.

There are old polls on here and other boxing websites that indicate so. Do a search.

Max Kellerman who hated Hatton called it a robbery, but it wasn't.

Well it was merely a tie breaker for the match the prevous year when GGG was 35. :deal:

How about Canelo Saunders? That checks all your boxes.

I completely respect that, that said I felt Collazo utterly dominated him down the stretch while simultaneously and categorically exposing every hole in his game. Just my thoughts, I had it 7/5 Collazo.

I cannot stand Andre Ward, but Ward TKO8 Kovalev will remain in my poll. It was a knockout victory over an extremely high level fighter.

Well Canelo only beat GGG "technically" in the rematch, so that would be the candidate for best victory, not the first match which was a draw. Also since the rematch was done in a fan friendly come forward style, that would make it "better" in the eyes of fans who like seeing a lot of action. We can certainly chat about the scoring of the first match, but for this topic the rematch would carry more weight since Canelo was officially victorious. I agree though, fight 1 was a travesty, Canelo deserved victory but GGG had those two judges in his pocket. So corrupt, if it wasn't for two corrupt judges, tinman would have Canelo GGG 1 in his poll since GGG was only 35 when that happened.
I agree it was a great performance by B-Hop but Pavlik was not his usual self, I reckon the weight he put on to get up to 170 slowed him down and made it easier for B-Hop to win. Tinman seems to have a pretty specific criteria when it comes to his choices. Also he seems to be moving the goal posts in any way he can to exclude Canelo's victories.

Good victory, sure, but not even close to best of this century. Thurman was distanced from the top of 147 by that point and had shown that he was only slightly better than Josesito before fighting Pac.
