    Huck, Cunningham, Hammer, Szpilka

By 'best' I don't mean most competitive... There are other matches I would rather see Wlad in(namely Jennings, Fury/Chisora II winner, Wilder/Stiverne winner) Probably won't be happening any time soon thanks to boxing politics among other things... But guys who are ranked reasonably high, aren't coming off of losses, and have reasonable drawing power. The guys I mentioned are all ranked fairly high, and have fan bases(maybe with the exception of Hammer) but I'm sure he could put a few Romanian @sses in seats. Thoughts? :think

Only Jennings and maybe Glazkov, but both would get brutalized.

Fury/Chizza winner would be a WBO mandatory.
    Chag is WBA mandatory :lol::lol::patsch
He just beat his IBF mandatory, dunno who's next in line.
IBO doesn't have mandatories I believe.

Cunningham wouldn't be too bad... From what I hear Wlad will fight in the states next year, and if that's the case then Cunningham, or Jennings would be ideal opponents, but Jennings is probably going to want to face the Wilder/Stiverne winner who he will be mandatory to, not Wlad.

Fight another stiff cabbie like Fury for example.

    Easy no risk win.

Fury ain't not stiff. Watch his performance against Kevin Johnson. He's more than capable of boxing intelligently for 12 rounds when he's in shape, and has his head screwed on properly.

He would be crucified if he fights a blown up Cruiser, certainly one that got beaten by Fury.
In the old days that didn't matter because most of them were Cruisers anyway, but nowadays you can't get away with that if you're the HW champ.

No offense, but what a ****ty names. Szpilka, Hammer, Cunningham? Why B level contenders?

Huck, might be fun to watch.

If Fury wins vs. Chisora he will be mandatory. This thread is about voluntary options.

A voluntary option should not exist to a guy in Wlads position.

You fight just two times a year. Fight continuous top rankers or get out of the game.

He'll get flack no matter what, so it won't matter.... Cunningham is a much better voluntary defense than say a faded Mormeck(a blown up CW himself) But Cunningham is at least relevant, and is actually ranked fairly high..

Huck is probably one of the better voluntary options. Although its still a silly mismatch.

These are top ranked fighters we're talking about here, and pretty much every HW champ there has been fought no-hopers, name me a defense on Wlads record as bad as Jean-Pierre Coopman or Richard Dunn.... So lets cut it with that nonsense.

In an ideal world next up would be a unification bout with Stiverne/Wilder winner, heck in an ideal world Wlad would facing Stiverne right now and not Wilder..... Some of the big fights people want to see won't be happening due to politics, not Wlad ducking as you always try to spin it.

You can rule them out because every time Wlad had a voluntary option he used it on non-rankers nobody ever heard of.

He hadn't the decency to offer a fight to somebody deserving. And even if he did , he'd make sure they didn't except by offering peanuts and lousy options.

Imagine if Mayweather was to have a voluntary option with somebody nobody ever heard of?

Pacman didn't even stoop to Moemek, Wach , Leapai level after he was KTFO by Marquez and fought a decent ranked opponent in Rios.

You should be silent for the next months after your awful prediction of the Pulev-Klitschko fight.

Can't be a winner all the time. Sometimes you get it wrong.
