You're beyond help man, everything has to fall on Wlad.. Never his opponents or the politics involved in boxing. Every opponent you've accused Wlad of ducking he's gone and fought(Haye, Povetkin, Pulev) and I'm sure there's more... Oh yeah. You think he's ducking Fury, so lets see what happens after Fury/Chisora II.... You can't compare the choices of opponents at the higher weight classes with those at WW-LMW, as those are the glamour divisions of boxing now, and there are more opponents available. Mine as well criticize every HW champion of the past, as well as every champion at 160+ who's currently fighting.
Huck is a Cruiser , half the size of Wlad. Yeah, great fight right thereatsch Anyways , he's looking to fight the Bellew/Cleverly winner.
For the record Huck is one of my favorite fighters and I have no interest in seeing him fight Wlad.. CW is exploding and there are a TON of interesting matchups for him there. :good
Stiverne/Wilder winner, Fury/Chisora II winner, Povetkin II, Huck, Glazkov, Jennings, and Perez are all acceptable and probably the top class of options for Wladimir's next opponent or two (obviously the first three probably won't happen).
Huck has a controversial loss to the guy who most people consider #2 in the HW division. So yeah, it is better than most options Hes the same size as Mormeck and not 6 years past hes best.
I'm not sure whether the voluntary defense might be next for Wladimir or not (he might fight Fury/Chisora next, who knows). Huck is a good option in my opinion. It would be a blockbuster fight in Germany, but I'm not sure whether Klitschko wants to give him a shot just like that or not (Huck's heavyweight ratio is 0-1). Plus Klitschko and Huck don't like each other because Huck is a very disrespectful guy, I guess he would have to earn his shot first. Cunningham would be a terrible opponent. He stands zero chance, plus he was already defeated by Fury. He is also arguably outside the top 20, and he'd be really an unworthy challenger. Szpilka defeated only faded Adamek, I don't believe that Wlad is even considering him as an option. Still, might be wrong, he has a good following though. Jennings would be a great option (if Wladimir plans to fight in the US). I know that he is in line for the WBC title, but perhaps he would prefer fighting the undisputed champion for the recognition and record money rather than trying to become a minor titlist. Again, might be wrong. Glazkov would be a good option too. He is rated #2 IBF behind Pulev (who will now probably go down a couple of spots), has a recent win over Adamek (who was top 10 at the time) and a couple of low level guys and he's currently highly rated (top 10 guy). Of course, his chances are about minimal, but he'd be a fine opponent for a voluntary defense. There are probably a couple more reasonable names.
Chag WBA mandatory has to be a joke, right? The WBA are telling us Fres Oquendo and Chag were their elite contenders? :rofl I hope Wlad pays him to go away. Briggs would be a better match up.
I am sure a lot of it will depend on if Jennigs can be made in the USA on HBO. If not, then Wlad will probably offer Huck a fight. Moneywise it makes sense, but it's a huge mismatch obviously. Huck is a free agent now and negotiations would probably be swift because this would be the most money Huck made in his entire career by a longshot. If Jennigs and Huck fall through, they'd probably start talking to Briggs. Note Bönte has mentioned Brooklyn arena as a venue. Isn't that where Briggs is from? After that would be great to see Wlad fight in a UK stadium vs. Chisora or Fury. However, not sure if either Fury or Chisora bring enough interest because Wlad surely doesn't in the UK.
