I can't think of a more coveted crown in all of sports than the WBC Silver Heavyweight Title. Six guys have had the privilege of holding this highest of honors- Bermane Stiverne, Carlos Takam, Alexander Povetkin, Johann Duhaupus, Dillian Whyte, Daniel Dubois. Who's the stand-out to this group of future first-ballot hall of famers? I'm going with Duhaupus, who's proven he can take a punch better than he can deliver one.
Povetkin ... who most likely would have beat Wilder convincingly if that fight had gone ahead. Who also delivered Duhaupus a punch he couldn't take, when he filled in for Wilder.
Interesting thread. Some good HWs I could make an argument for several of them Are you asking the question based on their whole careers to date or just their WBC silver reign? I could make an argument for Povetkin Whyte Dubois Overall career I would think Povetkin at this time As WBC silver champion I would pick Whyte with wins over Parker Undefeated Browne Helenius Chisora Good thread Let me know though if you meant their whole careers to date or just their WBC silver reign?
