I think welter it is the best weight class in boxing. It has many good fighters already and Mayweather is back and Manny is fighting at welter. I don't know if he will stay welter after he fights Cotto but I hope he does. Many money fights at welter.

Even if Pac loses to Cotto, I reckon he'll still fight Floyd. Too much money not to. They'll just write off the Cotto loss as "Cotto was too big", where Floyd is much closer to Pacquaio's size.

WW division is still the best in boxing. If a couple SMWs move up to Light Heavyweight after this 6 man tourny, then that's going to be the best division.

I hope not. If Cotto wins as he should and Mayweather wins as he should the biggest and best fight that can be made is Cotto vs Mayweather. I am not one to think a fighter is scared just because he does not fight a particular fighter. But I will say in order for Mayweather to put to rest anyones claim about his greatness he has to make his next 2-3 fights count meaning take the risky fights were the outcome is in doubt.

Not sure Pac can be considered WW. After Cotto destroys him, his WW days will be over.

What if Manny beats Cotto? He may stay at welter then.

If he only fights at catchweights, I don't think he should be considered a true WW. If he wants to be a true WW, he needs to drop the catchweight crap.

It used to be 147 but Mayweather and Cotto are fighting smaller men, Margarito is suspended, Williams isnt coming back, and Mosley, Berto, and Clottey cant get there act together and fight each other.

So ill go with 168 because anyone in the top 10 can beat each other. It is so unpredictable.
