Start using parallettes. Start incorporating gymnastics and some circuit training to build stamina and strength. Weights will give you size and definition but stamina and strength are detrimental. I say switch of each week. One week circuit training and the next weights. Look up some parallette exercises and do those daily. You will see a dramatic difference!

What a load of horse ****. Strongmen and olympic weight lifters lift weights for size and definition do they? Their strength work consists of doing some pushups and dips does it?

Great program. Can be pretty taxing doing squats 3 times a week though.

hello,,,i wouldn't train with weights if i was you people go to boxing gym to learn boxing & circuit training for fitness ,,,if you can learn the combinations with the pads people will be queuing up to learn the pads ,,,you have a good idea for your circuit training looking at you question,,, 5 mins stretching 5 mins skipping to start, half doing bags & pads half doing circuit,,press ups ,,dips ,,star jumps,,tuck crunches,,leg raises,,burp-es,,etc,,,don't forget stretches 5 mins at the end of training to cool down

    just an idea :tired

So your reasoning for nobody else doing weight training is you don't want to do it? :patsch

to me if i go boxing i don't want to weight train

if i go weight training i don't want to learn boxing

maybe its because I'm from a small boxing club were there is no room for weight training we use dumb bells for power punching thats about it

Ah. OK. So obviously if you go boxing you don't go running at all then? Who would box and run as well?
