Hatton looked brilliant against Paulie, he had to adjust his style for that fight as well.

Is Senchenko v Malignaggi going to be on TV, anyone know?

This is not true, Cotto wasn't even at his best 140 lbs best days when he fought Paulie. Not only was he physically struggling with the weight, he was basically training to make weight. If we add to that the fact that Cotto improved a bit when he became a welterweight champ, we can't really say Cotto was pretty much prime. Hatton had already started showing serious signs of being done, however, I think with Paulie he may have had that very last great performance great fighters are capable of giving even if already past it.

apart from round 2, you can't make an argument for pauli

why is khan so low, only one who outboxed and out-sped pauli, fair enough to put him last but that gap is pure bias

Yeah, I only had Paulie winning one round against Khan, too. Same for Hatton. I remember him winning the first, and then losing the rest.

Khan's win surpasses Hatton's for me because he displayed the much cleaner work. Hatton, due to his style, was always gonna' make things a little ugly. Khan's stoppage was also better. And it was against a Paulie that was happier under a better trainer, and coming off two impressive performances against Diaz.

Khan wasn't the only one t outbox and out speed Paulie. Hatton did too which nobody thought he could prior to the fight... which is why i think Hattons win was more impressive.

Styles make fights and Amir always had the beating of Paulie, while many thought Hatton would be too slow and get outboxed.
Hatton beat Paulie to the jab all night and was pretty elusive too. Hatton that night proved he wasn't a 1 dimensional brawler

first of all hatton didn't out speed mallinaggi, he had better timing and roughed pauli up, pauli didn't utilise his skills to the full in this fight, hatton and khan's jab isn't even close, khan is far superior here.

i expected both results so, i'm just saying it from more of a neutral view; like I said before all three wins are similar so it is what you prefer- nothing wrong with any of the three you pick in my opinion.

    Wow, this poll. :patsch

That Hatton win is beyond overrated.

That wasn't the real Malignaggi in there, I'd say he was less than 60% of himself on the night thanks to Buddy's tampering.

Yeah but Cotto got outboxed for stretches of the fight and had every advantage and couldnt stop him.

So now stoppages count for everything?

I'd expect a PBF fan to understand that a complete domination up to a wide points win can't be as impressive as - or even more impressive than - a stoppage?

...and, stretches? That might be stretching it. :yep How many rounds you give Paulie against Miguel?

Cotto wrecked that boy like a sedan at a monster truck show. The Magic Man felt worse (for weeks) after that beating than he did after being TKO'ed either time, I'd bet you anything.

personally I had it 116-111 Cotto (4 rounds to pauli)
the other two fights 1 round each to mallinaggi, only seen the full fight live of all 3

Against Hatton, you can't deny the Buddy factor.

Against Khan, you can't deny the "too drained at 30 to make 140lbs anymore, and has looked much sharper and faster upon moving up to WW" factor.

Cotto whipped a prime Malignaggi, and IMO it was more like 117-110 or even 118-109.

i think it's Cotto aswell, i have previously mentioned the buddy effect, but pauli drained isn't accurate in my opinion, watch diaz fight-if i remember correctly atleast 1 of those were below 140 (138 catch weight i think), i believe it was khan's jab and speed that made mallinaggi look old.

You can't deny the fact that pauli was inexperienced in cotto fight
