Dunno if anyone has said it but im gonna shout MAB over Naz.

Obviously dealt with Naz's unorthodox style better than anyone else, but also had to restrain his own instincts, and his obvious dislike of Naz (up until smashing him into the corner of course).

Always got the impression that Naz riled MAB hugely, and to contain it and Box the way he did was impressive, especially knowing how dangerous a puncher Naz was and a slight drop in his concentration and gameplan could have turned the tables drastically.

SRL didn't use his advantages in he first fight by fighting Duran's fight.

Horrible choice. Calzaghe "overcame" nothing, he scraped an SD on workrate alone against a 43-year-old whose stamina has understandably deteriorated in the last few years. Calzaghe was both ineffective and unimpressive.

He fought Duran's fight because Duran ****ing forced it on him, the choice was never Leonard's to make.

Are you referring to Foreman v Moorer?? Getting a lucky one-punch KO after being hopelessly outboxed is not what I'd call "overcoming a stylistic disadvantage".

True, but you could really argue Tszyu was more of a boxer/puncher in the stand-up Euro mode. He never depended on movement to evade shots which is what gives the swarmer the advantage over the pure boxer.

A younger version of Tszyu would have had the advantage because I believe his strength and power would have been enough to keep Hatton's swarming style in check. Ricky wouldn't have been able to just walk in and clinch.

PBF had the style advantage. Boxer over Puncher.

How about Chico over Casamayor II?

Throw in power puncher beats swarmer. And boxer beats power puncher. Power punchers aren't necessarily counterpunchers.
