His got his fighter a second real title shot on home soil and it's not against a fair trade worker, quigg must be wondering who's really making the big offers now

And fighting on undercards against fair trade workers is giving him a profile?

It's not and you know it. Quigg is out in the cold in the division.
The next opponent for Quigg has got to be a recognisable name who is ranked in the top 10 at least- with sky money and having had plenty of time to organise something then this has surely got to be a minimum requirement for Hearn to deliver

He's on the biggest platform in this country and is promoted as a world champion.

I don't see how fighting for Hobson on BoxNation would make him a bigger star.

In fact, it's not even a debate. It wouldn't.

"I don't see how fighting for Hobson on BoxNation would make him a bigger star"

Can't disagree to be honest. Who is the better known fighter to the general public / casual fan, Quigg or Hall?

Clearly Quigg. Never underestimate the power of Sky!

I was more focussing on Hearns failings rather then the Hobson/BN argument but yeah your right his visibility to to the public is at the maximum which is what makes his situation all the more unfortunate. Now a real argument would be if Hobson had access to sky would Quigg be better off with him? On the evidence it must be a yes.

Youre looking at this far too simplistically.

Hobson has far less over heads and far less boxers to pay, he might not have the same budget to work with but he doesnt have to put on the amount of shows Eddie does etc.

Ya you make a good point here, Eddie signing everyone had actually worked to his disadvantage and he can't provide the best service for his boxers

That's not an excuse - If Hearn can't deliver the goods then he shouldn't go around signing more and more fighters and tapping up other promoters boxers although on the other hand nobody forced the fighters to leave their promoter and sign for him. In the case of Quigg I had no issue with him leaving Hatton who unlike Hobson wasn't even bothering to put shows on to keep Scott earning and there was no clear direction on where he was going so matchroom was the best option clearly.

Quigg is a nice kid and my own personal bitterness towards Hearn in this situation is nothing against him...maybe Scott is happy to be considered a 'world champion' and will happily continue
Helping Eddie fill his sky dates by fighting banana pickers while the big boys fight each other

    Like who?

Kiko - Frampton is not a big fight. They've fought once already and Kiko has multiple losses on his resume, including two to a certain bin man that Quigg has beat.

Frampton couldn't secure the LSC fight and ducked Rigo so which big boys are fighting each other?

Real title, sells 20000 seats on it's own , that's a big fight

Frampton never ducked rigo he admitted his too good for him, why doesn't quigg step up and win a real world title and stop fighting fair trade workers
