I think timing is more important than actual speed, for a counterpuncher type of boxer.

Come on , it is Savarese! Michael Grant owned him in his prime. Savarese was never that good and he is now in his 40's.

That is like saying look at that left hook Fighter A landed on Cliff Ettiene , that would knock down Chagaev . The differance is Ettinene sucks (and gets KO'd all the time) , and Chagaev can fight.

i think we'll be able to tell at the weigh-in. If Iggy comes in around 230, we could have an upset. Around 220, he should win a pretty comortable decision. I don't see a stoppage either way since neither have great power.

Iggy's handspeed and foot movement should win him a competitive but close UD 8-4ish. For the most part, Holyfield is just one and done nowadays.

I do think Sutlan being a southpaw makes this a lot more awkward for Holy.
His bread-and-butter is the left hook, not his right. He needs to make Sultan pay up close.

In boxing, always bet on the underdog...the ridiculously underdog.

I'm gonna bet on holyfield based on his hard work ethic during 'Dancing with the Stars'.:hey

Holyfield got beat by John Ruiz. You seem to think Ruiz is the worst fighter on the face of the planet, lol.

Among fighters who have become rated or won titles, Ruiz undoubtedly has the least ability of any fighter since I've been following boxing.

And because he has minimal skills, he cheats to "win." As he did against Holyfield when he faked a low blow in their second fight to keep from being counted out. Their third fight was a joke. Evander clearly won the fight, but King got Ruiz the decision.

Really, what about Holyfield constantly using his head as battering ram ,and worst of all being caught buying HGH and steroids. I find it ironic you complain about Ruiz so bad , but Holyfield himself is the poster boy for a dirty fighter and steroid cheater.

Irony? Nearly every fighter that has fought Holyfield complains about headbutts from Holyfield. They say he is a dirty fighter, who does not fight within the rules, even Ruiz.

"Opponents of Evander Holyfield have repeatedly complained that the former heavyweight champion is a dirty fighter frequently given to head-butting. So outraged was Mike Tyson by Holyfield's alleged cranial transgressions during their second bout, in '97, that he wrote a formal letter of protest to the Nevada state athletic commission -- oh, wait ... no ... he bit off part of Holyfield's ear. Well, who can blame him? Being faced with such blatant unsportsmanlike conduct can really peeve a guy.

Holyfield has also been accused of working an elbow or two, as well as the occasional shoulder, into his combinations. Of course, that's just the sort of rough and ready action that falls into the gray area between blatant cheating and a strict adherence to the Marquess of Queensberry Rules. "The way that I describe Holyfield is [as] an opportunist," was how heavyweight John Ruiz --who faced the Real Deal three times -- put it to RingsideReport.com earlier this month. "If he sees things aren't going his way, he will throw an elbow or hit you with a head butt. "
