Beterbeiv is wasting his talent

I said he will lose to the top guys I still maintain that, so technically I'm not wrong until he beats the top 3. I never said he would lose to Prieto, who's just an Argentinan cab driver with a padded record.

Beterbiev is abit of a plodder to me and I think he will be undone by Ward and Kovalev, he has a good chance against Stevenson however and if I was managing that's who I would target. I much prefer Bivol and Gvozdyk out of all the upcoming EE LHWs.

Did you honestly think I thought Beterbiev would lose to an unknown Argentinian? Lol come on be serious, I didn't think Shabranksy would lose to anyone it had to be a good calibre of opponent so when the barerra fight came along that's when I picked against him.

Go check my post in that thread there was a guy saying Barerra would wash Beterbiev and I said I don't know about that but it would be a good competitive fight I think. My top 3 prediction is a reaction to the people picking him to become undisputed and then move up to Cruiserweight and get into a wars with Uysk.

 

Look you can clearly see Ive been consistent in my opinion of Beterbiev, I said his carries real power which will get him through most guys except the top 3. I think offensively his a talent no doubt but not defensively due to the lack of body, head and feet movement that he's shown.

But I also said if he gets active and proves me wrong by beating the two guys in the division I picked to beat him I will take back my opinions of him. lol you want to make me out to be a Xenophobe but it's clear I have no hidden agenda against any fighters based on race/nationality.

It took 2 years for Mike Tyson to win a world title and 3 for Vitali, his career (as well as the other olympians) is taking too long to step up, he has the amateur background, style and talent to be fighting better opposition; neither Tyson or Vitali had the amateur background of Beterbiev; Usyk is already a world champion for example.

 

Kovalevs team offered him almost nothing to fight in russia when he had what 8 fights?
what impresses me about Beterbiev is someone tried to hug him on the inside and a very short nothing finished the guy off.

 

I'm from Montreal and let me tell you something...as soon as he will be saying some words in french, he will pack the house just like Bute did. Add that to the talent he has, the sky is limit for him overhere and that phenomena will be much larger than just the boxing casuals. It's only a matter of time before the province adopts him.

 

Maybe I'm wrong but I think the reason why Beterbiev haven't faced Kovalev was not in his hands. I think that greedy uncle Haymon wanted to bring the fight on PBC and not on HBO and so, Beterbiev was stucked from that point.

 

it was to fight Kovalev in russia for less money than he could currently make. yvon michel said it's a fight that could be worth a million dollars each at one point. (likely more) he was offered something like 100,000. Declining a lowbal offer makes you a ducker in this forum since duva is a super hero here
