Generally I tend to agree with that but he completely dominated the P4P king and he was considered a fringe top 10-15 guy prior to that and had made 7 defences of his world title.
I don’t think to be fair either guy is underrated. I think for quite a long time now it’s universally acknowledged there are big sharks in the Light Heavyweight division. Both guys are quality. I personally think Bivol is the best but I could be wrong as Beterbiev is a wrecking ball machine. Some of the top contenders like the British lads are really dangerous fighters like Buatsi and Yarde. I agree with you Bivol is very talented and a brilliant boxer. Like you I was one of those even a Canelo said they had picked the wrong guy in Bivol. I am not saying King Arthur is unbeatable but beating him will take special treatment inclusive of strategy and skills. Hmmnn sound like Prince Dmitry to me, but what do I know.
Beterbiev and Bivol shouldn't fight each other yet. First, they should beat all the Western boxers in top 15. Then they should fight each other.
Bivol will face Zurdo (wba Mandatory) and then Canelo. Whereas Beterbiev will face 3 mandatories lool, WBO Yarde, IBF Buatsi v Pascal Eliminator and WBC being Smith v Bauderlique eliminator. WBC will give Beterbiev the chance to unify vs Bivol since he just fought a mandatory in Marcus Browne a couple of months ago but the IBF? they're strict and Beterbiev last mandatory for them was vs Deinis March 2021. Perhaps the iBF might let Beterbiev unify for Undisputed since he's been their champ for a long time and was Beterbiev first title belt. ? Guys there is a bigger chance of Beterbiev fighting as a cruiserweight than facing Bivol. Doesn't help Arum hates dealing with Hearn.
