great win by Kovalev last night was an incredible performance and he now holds 3 of the 4 belts

however seen as Adonis will more than likely ***** out and i see him losing his title in the near future any way Kovalev is on a collision course with Beterbiev

i see Beterbiev beating Kovalev in one of the most brutal fights in boxing history. Kovalev is great but Beterbiev will prove to be too big ,strong and technical and is also a much bigger puncher

i really like what i saw of beterbiev but kova just beat up the slickest guy in the division every round of 12 so i wouldn't jump the gun on that.

    Not sure about that.

Would love to see it though.

If the fight happens next year or so, I slightly favor Artur in that bout.
    It's certainly not a given.

id be willing to put a lifetime bet ban on Beterbiev winning now, his a all wrong for Kovalev

i think Beterbiev has a cast iron chin too, look at the size of his head, would be like hitting a cement block

Beterbiev is good but he'd lose to Kovalev, Joe Ward got schooled by Ivanov and Hooper got KO'd weren't you high on them as well.:yep

Think your wrong. beterbiev would be his hardest fight, but i see beterbiev getting beaten to the punch and busted up, if kovalev lands he can not knock him out aswell, beterbiev might be bigger and tougher or whatever you want to be, kovalev can outbox him from the back foot.

Ward beat Ivanov when he was 17 and 19:lol:

unforrunetly ward did most of his training in a pub for there last fight

i recognised Hooper as a good prospect, never raved on about him

Way too early to throw Beterbiev in with a seasoned pro like Kovalev.

Give it a couple of years

Yeah, I think it's not a good styles matchup for Kovalev, I think Beterbiev will be able to take quite a few of Kovalev's punches whereas 1 or 2 punches from Beterbiev and Kovalev would be out.

Calm your tits! Beterbiev is still unproven and untested at the level that Kovalev is.

isn't this what watching boxing is about, being able to spot talent and judge match ups's?

if you don't feel competent at that then maybe you should just look at the past

Indeed, let Beterbiev develop and progress over the next 18 months to 2 years.

    Would be very interesting then
