Beterbiev = A nightmare for Andre Ward

I agree, he will give him much trouble.

This is a very valid point, Ward is a counter-puncher who likes to move forward and smother the opponent's power, he prefers to move in and out of range. Instead of bouncing back when attacked like the traditional outside fighters he likes to bounce forward which is a big no no against Beterbiev.

It's hard to just change that style over night, especially now when his speed and reflexes have probably diminished a bit. He also doesn't have the power to keep Beterbiev away so to win against him he would have to fight a flawless fight from the outside all the time which I doubt he is able too since he never fought that way.

Beterbiev to become the IBF mandatory.

Beterbiev gets he's friends ramzan(ruler of Chechnya) to bid high and get ward to bring has ass to Chechnya lmfao

The man doesn't even like traveling to vagas, imagine the tantrum he would throw if he had to travel to a war torn hell hole at the other side elf the world

 

Beterbiev would destroy Ward. The spoiling tactics he used against Koleauv wouldn't work and he would be knocked out.

 

This is the worst fight at lightheavy for Ward. He would get mauled on the inside by Beterbiev and he wont have the punching power to hurt him.

 

Ward is strong at scoring points on the insider, I'm not saying he'd for sure lose but this is a VERY bad matchup. worse than Kovalev (styles make fights) Kovalev is a B- on the insider at best. ward hugs and wrestles on the inside a lot. beterbiev has the best insider power with one hand free I've seen perhaps ever.

Always said that. Worst style matchup Ward can have at the weight.
Kovalev is much more skilled overall and has more depth in his game, but like we've seen he had trouble with Ward when the man started clinching and grabbing, while that's where Beterbiev shines and often ends it when his opponent is stupid enough to attempt it.
That's why I don't think this fight would happen.
Even when Ward is somehow capable of weaseling out of the rematch against Kova, or rematch and make it close enough to take the decision again, I really don't expect him to honor his IBF mandatory.

 

I was championing Beterbiev as far back as 2 years ago and people were laughing at me. Trust me, this guy is no joke. He could go to CW and start smashing people there.

Beterbiev would Steamroll™ everyone except Kovalev, who would be a real nightmare for the improved version of Tyson

 

I also feel Ward will give young buck a difficult time IF he can wrestle and slow him down on the inside without eating the power that IMO is the death kiss from Beterbiev

 

We don't know how Beterbiev would deal with Ward's jab.

 

Bingo. Ward will fight maybe twice in 2017, one of which could be the rematch if he doesn't want to go back to court. His 2009/2010 legs are gone, he wouldn't be able to deal with Artur from outside which means Virgil and he will try their hardest at discrediting Beterbiev and telling the world how he's not worthy of a shot.

Beterbiev will fight a Monaghan type for the vacant IBF title in the second half of 2017.
