What the hell are u talking about???

What say does a tv network have in making demands.

Sergey is under contract with them for 1 more fight with a guaranteed amount to carry it.

The ONLY THING they can say is they do or don't approve the opponent.

Sergey sees that GGG and Lemieux are getting in the neighborhood of $5 mil plus gate plus PPV revenue split.

He wants that same type of $$$, and he'll need a huge name opponent, not himself tied to network to make that kinda $$$.

More than likely, Sergey will be fighting a mandatory again sometime this fall, and then renegotiating his HBO deal.

Brahmer in Germany would be his best bet to increase his global popularity while eliminating a mandatory, and strengthening his position to get much better $$$ for his non PPV fights on HBO.

Haymon not going to allow his prize pig to be turned into bacon when he can continue to build his brand on PBC.

Mama Duva only making this offer to let HBO know that she'll take Sergey to PBC if they don't get a way better deal than she originally got.

She had a mandatory to cope with, who was easy to deal with, and pre approved by HBO.
She's got more fight with HBO and is clearly using a PBC fighter to let HBO know that she'll need to get much better $$$ for Sergey if they want to keep him around

Can't wait to see Beterbiev's Glass Jaw Shattered. He has no Chin. None.

He's 30 and ranked #6. Should he wait until he's nearly forty and only fight the four guys ranked between him and Kovalev? Or should he start picking off easy opponents from the bottom of the pile?

Personally, I think 26 is a good age for a fighter to get his first crack at a title. If he's really world class, he can hold it for a couple of years. If he's not ready, he can still get another shot, like Hagler, Hopkins, and a lot of other guys who didn't win a title their first time out.

You shouldn't wait forever, just because you are afraid of losing. That way you risk never doing anything meaningful and interesting.

Too early for the fight. Let it get hyped up more before being made. Also Kov has unfinished business with Stevenson.

    It's irrelevant what Kovalev feels.

Beterbiev is not scared of facing him so Kovalev can cry foul all he wants. Betebiev wants to have a decider once and for all.

You in wrong thread?these kind of post show how powerful Floyd "money" Mayweather.doesn't matter what we are talking about, somehow someway, always somebody includes Floyd to the thread.this is about Kovalev vs Beterbiev still you only see your hero Floyd here.you just try to hate him,in your heart you are flaming *****.just accept it and move on.

What's your prediction to this fight?i'm hoping that Beterbiev will win,i Don't think Kovalev chin will hold up.Kovalev should try to outbox Beterbiev, that's the winning recipe for Kovalev.interesting matchup definetly.

I agree. I wanted to see this fight in late 2016 or 2017. This could be a legacy match.

I think he's saying that counting on Haymon won't risk Beterbiev losing for at least 1-2 years.

Kovalev's suspect chin makes Beterbiev's chances looking good. I would say Beterbiev 60%, Kovalev 40% chances of winning.
