I think he'd wear a bit more muscle well… He has a really thick and dense bone structure .. he'd do well in my opinion , especially seen as cruiserweight is in flux at the moment and just out of a great era.. I could see him picking up a belt there no problem
Beterbiev is not a big light heavyweight, as we saw last night, with Browne being the larger man. Besides, he's getting older. There would be no financial sense in him moving up to a division that in North America is less popular than light heavyweight.
Knocks out Makabu. Dorticos fight would end in a knockout either way. Briedis fight would be very interesting. Briedis rough housing style could get him in big trouble if he freely let's Beterbiev work on the inside.
I disagree, Beterbiev was clearly outsized by Usyk in the Amateurs and he gave Usyk some of his hardest fights even hurting him with a body shot. We saw that Usyk was big for CW and couldn't be bullied there.
Yeh what weight was that at. Beterbiev is definitely not a cruiserweight right now. He's as big as he will ever get in his mid 30s, some of the guys at cruiserweight are heavies in waiting. Rehydrate to 210-220lbs. Breidis beats him anyway
Lol. How typical of you. Already hyping him up. Bellew already beat him. Beterbiev would flatten him.
In his peak he would have been one of the top cruisers of today's division. Now he'd lose to a few of them at least, and he could be upset by a number of others who are not necessarily better than him but have power
