I like Kovalev now after reading this interview, wish more of today's best had his confidence and attitude.

Ward will fight and beat Kovalev again, this time much easier. By the time that happens BeterBeast may be ready for Ward but IDK. We haven't seen beast really have to box.

 

Are you comparing Pro p4p since 2009 Andre Ward's skillset with the amateur version of Usyk? That's one of the dumbest thing I've read on this board, props.

 

Okay, so it was after the Johnson fight and not the Mohammedi fight as the gentleman stated above or did he offer him the fight on two different occasions? Is there anything readable where he was offered the fight and turned it down? It's just that he didn't have any problems with fighting him in the amatuers so I see no reason why he would decline in the pros. He could have, I just would like to read it for myself.

 

Yeah, I hear you on that. I wouldn't think that Beterbiev would turn him down in the states. I think that he would have jumped all over that.

No, he says that Beterbiev has fought Usyk in amateurs and Usyk is much better than Ward skill-wise.

 

These guys are very stupid. First, Ward was afraid to fight Barrera. Then they said Ward was afraid of Kovalev. When Ward signed the contract, they said that he'll find a way out. Now that has taken Kovalev's belt they've jumped to Arthur Beterbiev's bandwagon, who by the way I believe is a legit threat, but will get schooled by Ward.

 

There is being confident and there is reality.

Beterbiev was offered the fight over a year ago but low ball B-side terms. A few more fights for Beterbiev and the fight has more cache and credibility.

 

beterbiev is a slow limited boxer, would be annihilated by ward, has even ducked fighter at 175 to!

 

Vast amateur pedigree and has beaten Kovalev twice but he is a limited boxer? Ok(!)
