Beterbiev can't beat Canelo

    1- Canelo is too slick for a robot like Beterbiev. He has the best defense with Loma on the planet in my book.

    2- Canelo has a granite chin. People talk about Beterbiev's power but Canelo can tank his power. Golovkin shaked him a bit in the second fight but he saved himself by using impromptu defense. This means Beterbiev can't (T)KO him.

    3- Canelo has the best counterpunching and setting a trap ability in boxing. He can catch Beterbiev easily. Beterbiev's defense not that great. His chin also not granite. He can taste the canvas.

    People think Beterbiev will beat Canelo just because he is bigger. This is not enough to beat Canelo imo. Two threats for Canelo are Bivol and Benavidez.

    Thoughts?

    A 37 year old Beterbiev won't be the favorite to beat Canelo, cuz that's when the fight would happen .
    Realistically speaking Beterbiev easily would have easily pounded Cinnabun in 2019 , I won't be confident saying that now given the lackluster performance against Deines.

    Also what you're seeing is a dearth of tall guys with a good jab at 168, that's making Canelo look much better than he's in reality , a stiff solid jab in his face will bring a quantum of solace to my burning heart.

    I agree that. Canelo might be outjabbed because other guy has a longer reach. Canelo can beat him by cleaner power punches.

    There isn't anyone out there who can be matched 50/50 with Canelo tbh.

    Anyone at MW-SMW is a huge underdog against him.

    At LHW Beterbiev is old and Bivol has looked awful in his last fight. Both of those Canelo is a favourite.

    Then up at CW Canelo is a huge underdog due to being too small.

    There's no one left who his detractors would be happy with him beating, but I imagine he'll continue to beat the best anyway as that's what he's spent his whole career so far doing.

    He is looking for someone to beat Canelo clearly. Ward is perfect fighter for that with his inside game.
