Beterbiev appeared to be the stronger fighter from the onset.. I picked Gvozdyk and I knew it probably won’t end well the way he kept conceding ground. I wish he would have tried to test Beterbiev chin more.. but easier said I suppose.
Let's rather say that Kovalev of five years ago would stand a good chance (almost a 50/50 fight) against Beterbiev.
Gvozdyk was the one supposed to beat Beterbiev, he had the style advantage but failed. Now the path is wide open for Beterbiev, he can easily beat Kovalev (not because Kovalev is bad far from that), and I don't know enough about Bivol this one is more interesting. Now Imagine if Kovalev beats Canelo (which I think would be logical) and then fight Beterbiev, will the bookers give Kovalev a huge odds advantage? That would be a great time to put money on Beterbiev.
