Canelo should go after Beterbiev, easier fight and better for his legacy. GGG should go after Charlo and Andrade, easier fight and better for his legacy.
Beterbiev is a way harder fight for Canelo. G is 40 and looks his age; Canelo would kill him with body shots. I don’t even think Canelo has a game plan for Beterbiev yet, which is probably why he’s still waiting him out.
Canelo will handle GGG now. He’s too fleet of foot for him, too much head movement and too many combos to the body.
Agreed. Beterbiev is nowhere near as skilled as Golovkin. I don't think he's even as skilled as Kovalev, who's also not as skilled as Golovkin.
I think people will be shocked at the opposite.. It’ll be surprising how slow Beterbiev will look against Canelo..
Beterbiev has legitimate light heavyweight power , strength and a good chin. Canelo would have to get in the trenches to beat him. Which is why they haven't fought nor are likely too while Artur is in his 30's. Now when he's 41 ?
People getting on GGG's back because he now actually looks human yet Beterbiev looking slow, cumbersome, plodding in his last fight and we're just going to ignore that
Canelo isn't that fast at 175lbs He fights in spurts and has gas tank problems (just genetics) Plant had no problem pushing him back or turning him early on Beterbiev needs to be wary of the flashy eye catching combos that judges are looking for and the counter punching of Canelo.
I disagree. If he beats Beterbiev then he was a bum (not my logic but this is the way it seems to go) and people will say he ducked a 3rd fight with ggg, etc. A clear win over GGG is probably better legacy wise than Beterbiev who is a 37 year old boogeyman who doesn't have a resume you'd expect for someone that old. Besides if Canelo beats him in Sept people would say he waited him out and the fight would be on short notice after Beterbiev puta Joe to sleep in June or July. Either fight is a good fight imo and would be an impressive win.
Caleb Plant has good foot and hand speed.. Beterbiev doesn’t possess the speed Plant has. But you gotta realize this is more than speed when you factor in his age and how fragile he is..
